About Kin Studio

In Florentin we practice kintsugi — repairing broken pottery with lacquer dusted with gold.

Kin (金) means gold. Our studio is named for the seam that transforms a fracture into something precious — not hidden, but celebrated.

We believe in wabi-sabi: the beauty of imperfection, the patience of craft, and the idea that a broken thing can become more whole than it was before.
